Charity Fashion Show at Bond No9 – Thursday 5th April, 8pm – £8

Bond No 9 and Meow Studios are coming together to present a one night shopping fashion event Boutique at Bond, One night in a bar featuring a collaboration of individual designers and boutiques from all over Scotland.  Over 10 designers will bring their Spring/Summer collections to life with live models. The evening will be a night full of entertainment with live songstress Lady Jayne and DJ Nick Yuill of Ultragroove and Heavy Gossip taking you into the early hours of Friday morning with the help of a specially designed cocktail list and canapés from Bond No 9!

Most importantly of all, the night is in aid of the Dalziel Hospice for Cancer Care. The Dalziel Centre is a Day Hospice for patients with cancer in Lanarkshire. It is based at Strathclyde Hospital in Motherwell and offers emotional, psychological and social support to patients, carers and families who live with a cancer diagnosis. The Centre helps patients live with their cancer with confidence and dignity and offers carers respite for the day, while patients receive support in a safe and comfortable environment. This cause is so important to the night and the bar as Lady Jayne (aka Jayne Seawright) has had endless support from the centre since her mother was diagnosed with stomach cancer on New Year’s Day 2010 and is still fighting the disease today.

The night will climax with a runway show in the middle of the bar featuring three chosen local boutiques:

Vi Nouveau – Scottish-based VI Nouveau was created in 2010, by two friends, Fiona Scott and Zoe Radcliffe, who have always had a fascination with vintage shopping, styling and design. They scour far and wide in their never-ending quest to bring you stunning, rare and unique treasures. Only the finest, hand selected vintage pieces pass their scrutinising eyes and only truly excellent vintage garments find their way to you.

Miss Dixie Belle, based in a leafy area of Edinburgh, Miss Dixie Belle, already has the residents of Bruntsfield twitching their curtains. The former taxicab office has been completely transformed into a ‘retro chic’ haven for those looking for elegant shopping complete with twinkling chandeliers, first class service and the most feminine of vintage inspired offerings.

Odyssey Boutique, created by director Sarah C in 2010, and born from the desire to offer everything a girl needs to look good naked under one roof. The boutique focuses on great fitting, beautiful lingerie and year round swimwear, alongside a capsule collection of specialist beauty treatments cleverly designed to complement the stunning range of silky smalls

All items will be available for purchase on the night including the items on the runway show.
