Bainbridge Walk Studios Open Day

Sunday 9th October 2011, Midday on…

Bainbridge Music are delighted to announce the opening of their second Music Studio in Leith: Bainbridge Walk Studios, or ‘The Walk’ for short.

Over the past 3 years Bainbridge Music, based at Great Junction Street Music Studios, have been growing rapidly to become regarded as the champions of new music in Edinburgh, offering a full range of services from tuition to rehearsal to promotion to management (I’m not writing this…but I think Bainbridge are worth the plug – Editor).

With the opening of their custom built studio at 17-19 Iona Street (the Editor can thoroughly recommend the excellent Tourmalet Bar across the road!), Bainbridge Music move into the field of recording. With a custom built live room, including vocal booth, the guys have got together with new music production company, Soundreach Scotland, to offer the best value demo studio in Scotland. With great deals on single or multiple track recordings, the studio is sure to be a great addition to the Bainbridge portfolio. Along with recording, the new studio will house tuition rooms for SLS vocal coach Tom Bathgate, vastly experienced guitar tutor Mark Anderson and top drum teacher John Alexander. Along with this there will be a further custom built rehearsal room.  There will also be a music accessories shop, which will offer top quality, as well as top value, products to keep musicians in parts and spares for every gigging emergency, as well as a fully stocked music book section. This is offered in conjunction with Rae MacIntosh and the Musicroom Company.

So with all these exciting things happening, we want to give everybody the chance to come and have a look at ‘The Walk’ for themselves. That is why, on Sunday the 9th October, we shall open our doors to the general public to come and have a look. There will be acoustic musical entertainment from some of Edinburgh’s most revered acts, including Neil Pennycook of Meursault fame and Stanley Odd, plus more special guests dropping in.

Come by any time from midday onwards on the 8th, but keep an eye on www.facebook.com/bainbridgemusic and www.bainbridgemusic.co.uk for updates on set times.
